Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions for entry into Germany from many countries apply. Persons entering must complete a digital entry registration. Depending on the place departure, they also have to provide a negative test result or proof of immunity, and comply with quarantine regulations.

- private gatherings in public and private places (like your flat), where one or more people are not vaccinated or recovered (not counting children under 14): only members of one household and maximum 2 people from a second household can meet. Please note that the physical presence of only one person that is neither vaccinated nor  recovered will enforce this limitation, regardless of the status of the other persons
- private gatherings in public or private places (like your flat), where everyone is vaccinated or recovered: indoor maximum 30, outdoor maximum 100 people

- Sitting indoor in a restaurant, visiting theatres or cinemas or a gym or doing indoor sport in a sport club: you have to be vaccinated/recovered AND have to show a negative test* (this method is called "2G Plus")
- If you want to drive with a train you need to be vaccinated/recovered OR show a negative test* (this method is called "3G")
- Unfortunately music clubs are not allowed to host parties

* - a negative test is a antigen rapid test (done by a testing center like the one in Mensa am Schiesswall) not older than 24h, or a PCR test not older than 48h

If you got your 2. shot 6 months or more ago, you can get a booster vaccination. Those who got Johnson & Johnson can get a booster shot 4 weeks after that. It is not needed for 2G right now, but definetly recommended.

Regulations for the University of Greifswald:

As of 01.01.2022 the University of Greifswald is returning to digital mode. This applies to teaching (but not to practical courses, which must be held in fixed small groups), to the administration, to sessions of university bodies and all extra-curricular events, which must either be cancelled or held in digital formats. The library will remain open, subject to strict hygiene measures. Medical masks must be worn inside university buildings. Professional face masks (FFP2) are recommended.
